I was going to use some of my Henley photos but found an old Daily Mail children's annual in a charity shop with lots of pages on birds and their nests.
This is what I ended up making:
I covered a 7 gypsies "naked pocket" with Martha Stewart papers, then fussy cut the chaffinch from another sheet. The title came from the annual.
I stamped the tag with a TH bird in sepia then pasted on a chaffinch and its' nest (the back of the tag features a song thrush but no stamping). Finished off with some Maya Road ribbon.
I am constantly amazed by the variety and skill of the tags people make - so inspiring.
Really great re-use of an old book, has a lovely vintage feel.
