...now...I'm not usually a purple lover?!
Well out of my colour comfort zone!!
..So I even surprised myself this week, by making not one ...but two tags !!..
TAG 1
... stitched some assorted purple / lilac buttons and beads onto a crochet heart, then added them to a canvas tag.
TAG 2
Chipboard tag, covered in cream lace with dragon flies, lilac lace, pink cheesecloth, selection of lilac/purple buttons, mini doily, ribbon and...
clay cab face (painted purple)
Thanks for peeking!

Golly, I did good to come up with ONE purple button! Great job!
ReplyDeleteI have done more than peek!! I have had a jolly good nose around. These are gorgeous. Especially like the clay face all in purple. Thinking outside of the box.Thats what I love. hugs Mrs A.
ReplyDeleteAAWWW I'm a purple girl!
ReplyDeleteTwo wonderful tags Jan, and all out of your comfort zone too!...some would say it makes great art :)
ReplyDeleteI suppose there must be one or two women who don't like purple(hehe). Great job working with a colour you don't normally use. I'm like that with blue. I have come to "quite like blue" now after making quite a few blue things.
ReplyDeleteBoth tags are great, really imaginative.
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful tags - I love them both. I am also quite in love with your dragonfly lace!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful tags. I'd ever have known you have problems with purple.
ReplyDeleteOh you clever old thing, they are both gorgeous!!! I think the skinny one is my favourite though. I love the different layers and the pretty embellishments.
ReplyDeleteSave the button one for me please Jan.
