Hello everyone, hope you had a good break. I do not love housework, although it is lovely when I've gone through the house or my craft room! I would rather be like dear mole from Wind in the Willows and when I have had enough of the 'H' word go off and have an adventure! To try something a bit different and stretch myself drew an image of mole as I did not have stamps or pictures in my stash. I coloured it with watercolours, edged it with some twigs from the garden (fiddly) and coloured and punched some leaves. A piece of rusty wire for the hook and then I printed out the opening lines from the book and pasted them onto distressed banners that I wove ito the frame.
Dear mole, this is still one of my favourite childhood stories.
Thank you all for the kind messages you leave me. I hope you have a lovely week.
With hugs xx
