Spring Cleaning

Hi, girls! I nosed around the internet, looking for something to do with a carpet beater and found this neat image of a maid holding one. I made the mini beater out of wire and a painted piece of a wooden skewer. Once I figured out the pattern to the "twist," it was pretty easy. The "lace" on the bottom area is a piece of a paper doily. Have a good week and don't beat too many carpets!!

  11. I am afraid of this lady. She reminds me a bit of Mrs. Danvers from Manderley.
