Mama Doodly is busy watching over jacket potatoes baking in the wood burning stove.
She doesnt want to get her nice outfit mucky so she has put her pinny on.
The tag is a photograph I took in my friend Tracy's house
and the background is a lovely craft sheet that was in a magazine I got from
Junction 9 off the M65 Burnley, Lancashire
NOW THEN LOOK AT THESE LITTLE FELLA'S
They are lovely shortbread biscuits made and iced by Amy Goggins
a neighbour of mine who is a Doodly Bird Fan.
I can't eat them though, I feel as if I would be killing them.
This is lovely Lynn! Mama Doodly is such a good cook, she makes THE best jacket potatoes. Crispy skin and soft fluffy insides and her wee pinny is just so in vogue. Those shortbread biscuits are mega cute and just too pretty! :D
ReplyDeleteCute tag! I never thought of baking potatoes, only cakes, cookies, etc. What does that say about my diet?! Those cookies are really artistic too!
ReplyDeleteAnother gorgeous bird and tag. And I understand about not being able to eat those wonderful shortbread birds! Valerie
ReplyDeleteI love mama Doodly's pinny, and the biscuits are amazing, how could anyone eat them? Jane xx
ReplyDeleteWow, amazing. They look perfect!!
ReplyDeleteSweet little tag lynn, love the stove... lucky Tracy!
ReplyDeleteI expect those little shortbreads would taste devine, are you just going to keep them?
Can't bring myself to eat them Yvonne.
DeleteI think I will try varnishing them to preserve them.
I too was only thinking cakes/ biscuits for this weeks theme and not the healthy option! I wouldn't be able to eat those cute biscuits either, I have Lindt Easter Bunnies sitting in my lounge that are years old for the same reason.
ReplyDeleteLOL - baked potatoes - very clever - love all the elements you used....personally I would gobble those cookies up before someone else in my house got to them....
ReplyDeleteThese are so adorable. I totally understand not wanting to eat those delectable Doodly cookies! Warmly, Tracy #16
ReplyDeleteLove how Mama Doodly lookis like she's on tiptoes to check on those potatoes. Great thing to make for lunch when you're having an arts and crafts day as you can just put them in and forget about it and then lunch is ready!
ReplyDeleteGreat doodly bird biscuits - I wouldn't be able to eat them either - way too cute. x Jo
