Baking

I cant believe how quickly this challenge is making the week fly by.  I had to make a cupcake for this weeks theme, as my daughter who up until recently has shown no interest in baking has taken up making cupcakes for friends and family.
To a manila tag, I stuck a cupcake recipe from a free store magazine.  My cake is made from painted craft vilene.  The 'cake case' is a piece of packaging which I coloured with an ink pad (don't think it shows in the photo though). ' Icing' is satin fabric bonded to felt with beads stitched all over.  As Kezzy has been making fondant flowers to go on some of her cakes, I added a flower and button from my stash.
