Sew what!

Firstly, can I apologise for the attitude of this tag? I've been in a rebellious mood the past week or so, and I think it's finally decided to express itself in my art work! When I read that the theme was sewing my hear sank a little which is crazy because I love sewing and call myself a textile artist. However, I've been on a diet, been trying to work on a college project and been helping my husband to get our photography business up and running. I thought of trying to create a really cute and quirky little tag with thimbles and scissors and bobbins, or using machine embroidery to make something arty and elegant, but all that came into my head was this little piece of attitude! It's cross-stitched in black and red thread on aida, then bondawebbed onto a piece of denim, which I backed with fusible interfacing to try and stop too much fraying. I added a riveted hole (Once I worked out how my hole punch worked!) and a ribbon.
Hope you enjoy my tag, and I promise I'll try and be in a better mood next week ;)
