Sewing

My Grandma was a seamstress and she had a very similar sewing machine and, yes, it was a Singer. This was the sewing machine where I learned my first stitches - wonderful warm memories .....

Mulberry paper flowers, machine stitching, charm, buttons

Lots of machine stitiching on a little piece of Calico which I 'dyed' with some distress ink, handstitching only for the buttons and the charms. And here is a second little tag with only a wee bit of handstitiching which I made for a friend who had just moved hous, I cut house and flowers by hand and stitched the frames for the windows (stamps: Elzybells)
Now will visit all your fantastic creations, enjoy your weekend, Petra.

  9. I like both your tags Petra. The machine stitching looks great. I have my aunties old singer machine in it's original stand in my hallway. You can see it on my blog.
