Diamond Jubilee

I used a photograph from our local newspaper for the Queen's image. I used silver glitter glue on the bunting, and her jewellery, and added a few flowers that I made from a scallop punch.I just "squished" several flowers together after misting them with water to soften them.
We were watching the River Procession tonight, and a group of singers from Cornwall sang a Sea Shanty called "Bound for South Australia.
Loads of Cornish miners came to South Australia to work in the copper mines at Moonta and Burra(North of Adelaide). It was lovely to hear that connection.
I'm looking forward to seeing all the tags this week.

  1. This is lovely Judy, a really clear picture of her maj. How pretty she was. I've enjoyed seeing the bits n pieces on tv. The concert tonight was brilliant.
