What a fabulous patriotic weekend with red white and blue everywhere! If we do the Olympics half as well we shall have succeeded! I found an image of a Coronation street party and so used that as the starting point on my tag. The background was a whitened down flag image from Portobello Road paper stack and then I chose a 2012 street party from my daily newspaper. I then made a red rose of England out of the same paper stack and added glossy accent rain drops. Then I put the dates on the parties, some ribbons and bows and buttons and a tattered banner on the bottom. I have photographed it against a wonderful image looking up the Mall on todays paper.
Just sitting waiting for her speech to us now to finish the Jubilee off nicely. I hope you have all had a wonderful bank holiday. I can't wait to see all you tags, thank you so much for your kind comments.
