Riverbank

Hi Everyone,
Here I am in Berkshire, a few minutes walk away from the River Thames.
 For some reason
I struggled for inspiration for this tag, but then I remembered you are supposed to work with what you know. The River Thames is something I have come to know very well.
Last week my art teacher took our group down to the river to sketch, so I spent a morning looking at the river and drawing.
Here is a thumbnail sketch of the watercolour I did that day, done from memory and stylised.
I used fine line pens and watercolour crayons, which I didn't add water to, although I was tempted.

  1. Hi Jane lovely sketch. How wonderful to live by the river. I think you should leave this fab tag as is and try another with the water! :-)

  4. I laughed at "work with what you know". That explains why I cant get away from those pesky Doodly Birds Jane.
Your little ducks and the whole picture are great.
