This is the last tag I had time to prepare while we were still in England. I love seeing this month's seaside tags all together, and I had so much fun making them.
Years ago, I found this tiny little bottle with teeny weeny little shells in it at a boot fair in England. It has a sweet old label with lovely old handwriting on it. I wanted that little bottle to be the focal point of the tag. I used dried sea weed, tiny pebbles, sea shells and 2 tiny bits of sea glass from our beach in Hastings, and added a few strands of green silk thread from an old tassel. I had the starfish, fish and seashell charms in my stash, and just attached them to the bottom of the tag. You can't see much of the background, lol, but I used a photograph I took years ago of an actual rock pool.
Thank you all so much for your kind words last week. It makes my heart sing when I read them.
Have a wonderful week wherever you are, we are finally enjoying summer weather here in France, woohoo.
