Hello everyone,
This week I was a bit stumped as my collection of beach finds consist of a couple of lovely pebbles that I collected whilst on holiday in Cornwall. Unfortunately I don't have a hot glue gun or any glue strong enough to attach them to a tag so I have to admit I struggled with this weeks theme. I had only one thought in my mind and it was of some images of shells that I came across a couple of weeks ago courtesy of The Graphics Fairy.
I think I am probably guilty if straying a bit from this weeks theme but nevertheless here is what I came up with.
I painted the tag with a layer of gesso followed by a layer of white acrylic paint. I then adhered the images to the tag using gel medium. Finally, I used a black oil pastel to shade around the edges of the tag and around the shells.
I must say that all the tags are looking fantastic this week so much work has gone into them. Well done to everyone and thank you so much for all your lovely comments last week.
Bye for now x
This is absolutely beautiful and so classy! I love black and white - it always makes such an impact (and I'm sure you'd find shells just like those in a rock pool so it's perfect for this weeks challenge!).
