Hi everyone,
I know I've left it late but at last here is my tag for this week.
I wanted my tag to look weathered so I went for a gel medium transfer. I used a photo that I had previously taken of a seagull and used a light blue card for the base of the tag. Once I had transferred the image I added more colour to the card using Broken China Distress Ink and stamped the words 'Echo's of a Sea Bird' in Vintage Photo Distress Ink to compliment the faded image. To add to the weathered look I painted over a layer of gesso and then lifted it back off again with a cloth.
Thank you for your kind comments last week . I'm off now to make a cuppa and settle back and have a look at all of this weeks tags.
Bye for now x
