Sea Birds

Happy Tag Tuesday!

I'm sorry that I've missed the past couple of crazy weeks but am glad to be back! I love this month's theme. For this week's challenge, I had a few ideas. When I think of sea birds, I think of Scuttle from the Little Mermaid. He's hilarious and I LOVE the part where he explains to Ariel that a fork is a "Dinglehopper" and humans use it to do their hair! So, I took a piece of drift wood and glued some tulle (for the waves in the water) , shells and "seaweed" to the drift wood. I drew a picture of Scuttle and printed out the bubble with ,"It's a Dinglehopper" on it and glued it to Scuttle. I then slid Scuttle into a crack on the driftwood. I attached fine wire for a string and voila!, my tag was done. But as I looked at it, I thought that it was a bit too pretty for Scuttle. So, I printed & cut out a picture of a seagull, applied Inkssentials Glossy Accents and then replaced Scuttle for tag #2. The nice thing is that I can change the bird to suit the person whose gift I put the tag on.

Wishing all of you a creative week!

Best, Mary Ann
