Game over for the Doodly Birds

To much squabbling amongst this lot for any decent table games.  I've had to cut them up into a jigsaw to get some peace.

I remember staying up till really late one night as a child so that me and my dad could finish a jigsaw on the kitchen table.  Mum said we had to get on with it as we had nowhere else to eat our meals.  No tv dinners in them days.  No tv either.

  4. Poor Doodly Bird, head cut right off! I hope when the jigsaw is back together you will glue all the pieces down to make a picture to go on the wall! Great tag Lynn, Jane xx

  5. Hi Lynn - my brother and I had a lot in common with those Doodly birds. We would spend hours cutting out bits from old catalogues building up families with rooms and things all over the front room floor and then we would squabble over a Mum or a Dad to complete our paper families that had all 4 limbs in tact and that was it TIDY UP TIME!!! Happy days. Love your naughty Doodly bird piece!

  6. Doodly birds never cease to amaze - what a great idea. Doodly bird jigsaws could be the next big seller in the games shops

  7. I love your tag, Lynn. My daughters and I used to love to put puzzles together when they were little - we still do sometimes. Blessings!

  9. Love this tag Lynn, dear doodly birds, I was worried you would have them playing strip poker, with a lot of feathers lying around! x

  10. Beautifully done, Lynn, although I hate to see the Doodly Birds in pieces over a game...

  11. My mum used to separate me and my sister if we squabbled, but not like this! Not meaning to get to 'high art' but it reminds me of David Hickney's photo collages!
