Hi everyone. What a clever bunch of taggers, Is it me or does that sound slightly rude? Ha ha! I LOVED looking at all your mermaid tags. I have a thing for mermaids. In the early days of my digital art passion I produced quite a few.
The one I have photographed here I printed off intending to cut her up and use , embellish or something for this weeks challenge. I have to come clean, I have been ill again, I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and some weeks I have trouble using my hands. Which brings me to my point Do you mind me sometimes producing digital images? Or should I wait until I'm better and stick to 'licking and sticking'
Fond Regards Pat x
Fabulous image and fabulous photo-- looks very professional!! And by all means-- do whatever is comfortable for you-- as long as you enjoy it! Art and crafting in any form can be very therapeutic!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful piece of digital art- way beyond my capabilities, wouldnt know where to start to create anything like this. Hope you soon feel better.
ReplyDeleteI think the whole composition is stunning - so beautifully done. I for one love seeing what people do in all different mediums, and I love seeing what you create digitally - it's absolutely amazing.
ReplyDeleteyou carry on making tags whichever way you like! I just wish i was as brilliant as you on photoshop..you should be giving classes K x
ReplyDeleteGreat image. I am sure it is fine for everybody to do tags how they like, main thing we all have fun. Valerie
ReplyDeleteI love the way you photograph the image. Prayers for healing coming your way.
ReplyDeleteThat is a fabulous image! I have RA too, so would say whatever suits you on the day... a flare up can happen at any time. Hugs xx
ReplyDeleteThats a stunning piece, absolutely gorgeous. I wish I could do digital collaging, so I am very happy indeed to see your digitally produced tags in the future. I am sure there is just as much if not more work going into producing a digital one as there is in a "lick and stick" ( as you put it, tehehehe ) one.
ReplyDeleteOf course you must use digital art, or anything else you fancy, and this tag is marvelous, well done. I hope you feel more comfortable soon and I'm so sorry your RA has been playing you up. x
ReplyDeleteDear dear Pat it is so wonderful that you manage to do a tag when you are poorly. Carolyn would tell you that any media can be used so don't think anymore of it.
ReplyDeleteAlso I am mad jealous as I can't do digital stuff. Haha.
And anyhow we would miss you.
Lynn and the Doodly Birds xx
What a truly wonderful picture! I can only echo what everyone else has said - any medium is acceptable. This blog is all about taking part and I'm sURe that if things had to be done in a set way I would never have got 'a foot in the door' in the first place, lol. Keep 'em coming Pat, any way you can! :0)
ReplyDeleteheh we all need an outlet to make art - if digital is your thing today and cut/paste is your thing tomorrow go for it LOL....lovely image on your tag...
ReplyDeletePat I love this composition. It is every bit as artistic as the gluing and sticking kind of art. Love how the fish mimic the tones of your beautiful mermaid!
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful! Could not begin to imagine how you did this - look forward to your tags no matter how they are created - get better soon. Carolyn x
ReplyDeleteSimply beautiful... I really wish I could get the hang of using the computer with such fab effect... Gorgeous.. May x x
ReplyDeleteI love your mermaid image! I think it's lovely and I envy you your ability to create digital photos like this. I think you should continue your art in whatever way you can because it's a therapy that is very helpful to all. I hope you feel better soon. My mother had RA and I know how debilitating it can be.
ReplyDeleteI love your mermaid and the way you have arranged the photo is fabulous! I love to see digital art - It's something I can't do (yet!) so its good to see what can be done. So long you can keep joining in, you do what you like! Jane xx
ReplyDeleteI think that images this stunning are a wonderful contribution and I also believe that digital art is every bit as valid an art form and "licking and sticking"! I have RA, too, and I understand exactly what you are dealing with every day. What program did you use to create this?
ReplyDeleteWhat I really like about Tag Tuesday is all the different techniques. This is so beautiful, I'm really impressed with the image and very jealous of your IT skills!
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful and mysterious. I love the variety of media used on the tags, do what works for you!
