AUTUMN FRUITS AND BERRIES

Bonjour everyone!  This week's theme is perfect!  We are just about to swing into the most important time of the year here in France - the grape harvest!  Our neighbour, Yannick, is busy readying all the necessary equipment and there is a palpable sense of excitement in the air - the timing has to be absolutely perfect to ensure that the vindage is successful.

For my tag I took a photo of some of his luscious merlot grapes which I have embellished with green and gold stickles.  The background of the tag was inked with distress stains to echo the colours and bloom of the grapes.  I then added a couple of metal butterflies for fun!

Yannick also harvested his many acres of plums last week and they have been drying in huge ovens to make delicious plums - harvest time indeed!

A bientot - Carolyn x
