What a great theme - and already so many fantastic tags posted! My tag this week is certainly not alone in its use of a clown as inspiration . As I had challenged myself this month to make all stitched tags, this one did seem the easiest to execute - striped cotton background fabric, with free form machine stitched collage fabric, felt appliqued face, hair and hat, with machine and hand stitched features, a fabric frill, a ribbon bow tie with a few sequins!
Life got in the way over the last fortnight so even though I had my tags mostly ready, they didn't make it to the blog. Perhaps some of you might like to see them... The Funfair tag is another stitched appliqued portrait with silk needle felted fairy floss - machine and hand stitching. The previous week's Table Games tag is very simply another felt applique of the Chess Queen on chequerboard fabric.
Looking forward now to looking at all your beautiful tags in detail.
Wilma, your tags are beautifully done. Im so glad you have put them up to show us.

These are all delightful tags! Appliqués and stitchery are similar to collage and line drawing, yet the feel is completely different. Blessings!
