This weeks theme gave me a chance to feature this lovely clock,
which I photographed on two separate visits to Prague.
Prague Orloj
or
Prague Astronomical Clock
The clock was first installed in 1410,
making it the third-oldest astronomical clock in the world
and the oldest one still working!
Mounted on a card backing is a black and white printI took in 2002
the top colour print which is raised was taken in 2006
On October 9, 2010, the Clock's 600th anniversary was celebrated with a light show
on the face of the clock tower.
What a gorgeous photo and what a great idea using it for the tag this week - a great keepsake for your holiday memories.
ReplyDeleteThank you also for the link to information about the clock - I shall be reading up on it later!

ReplyDeleteHi Yvonne - Great idea to use the black and white photo with the colour one. I bet that took a while to match up as they were taken at different times. I love all the layers and that your tag is so personal.
ReplyDeleteWow! Gorgeous tag, Yvonne! The Prague Orloj makes a great subject. Thanks for the information about it and the lovely photos.
