I'm just loving these falling leaves Carolyn has created on here! She is so clever ;-)
I'm sure Autumn is the most colourful season, or is it just because of the tones? After all, Spring is colourful too with it's Daffodils, Crocuses, Tulips, Aconites, Blossom, and all the other beautiful Spring blooms; but Autumn, to me, always seems brighter.
Onto this weeks tag, and the background picture this week is a picture I took on Sunday of the changing leaves of a climber in my garden.
I used the 'Format Picture' part of Word and gave the picture a soft purple glow around the edge. I then added a poem called Shades of Autumn, by Judith A. Lindberg, in white text. In case you can't read it, here it is:
Shades of Autumn
A tangerine and russet cascade
of kaleidoscopic leaves
Creates a tapestry of Autumn magic
Upon the emerald carpet of fading Summer
The golden memories of sunsets and twilight
Hover in the backdrop of the peek-a-boo
patch
of silver skylight.
I added some russet leaves to the top left corner, that I had taken from my blueberry bush and covered them with Glossy Accents, (to preserve them as much as making them look shiny), and then I threaded some little Autumnal leaf buttons onto some wire and put that in the top right corner. The tie is one of those bobbly keyring chains I found in a drawer.
I'm off now to start viewing the gorgeously coloured Autumnal art work I know is around here again this week. Have a great one! Take care, :0) XhugX
