Hi everyone,
Three very simple tags this week as life has been very hectic!
I embossed the designs onto velvet, glued the velvet onto tags and trimmed them up. I used tape on the back of the velvet, so that I cut through the velvet and the tape as I trimmed, and this should prevent them fraying.
If anyone wants to know more about embossing on velvet there's some great information here.
October is a busy month for birthdays in our family - here's the first tag all ready to go - I'm quite pleased with how well it matches the paper!
Thanks so much for all the comments last week - I apologise if I didn't get to everyone - life started catching up with me towards the end of the week! The tags were fab and I'm looking forward to seeing the autumn ones this week.
I never knew you could emboss on velvet, must look it up! Love your tags, they look so rich and touchable, if you know what I mean! Valerie
