Celestial

On the day after Bonfire Night in the UK, my CELESTIAL Tag just had to include Fireworks. Using black ‘rub& reveal’ board, I have scratched on the surface to create colourful fireworks in the night sky.  I have also included words that evoke the shouts, sights, sounds and smell of a November sky: flash, boom, whoosh, smokey, fizzle, sparkle, bang, wow,  and whizz.
The tag is trimmed with beaded black ribbon, star charms and a silver tie.
I’m looking forward to seeing all your Celestial Artwork this week.  Bailey is looking forward to a more peaceful evening ahead! ( Me too!).
Bye for now

  5. We use the scratch boards with the children but I like them too. They are great fun and so apt for today's theme.

  6. Ooooh, I remember doing scratchy pics with the boys when they were little, they are lots of fun. I love the technique you used and I love the colourful fireworks, much more than the (very noisy ) real thing.
