Continuing on with my alphabet letter shapes to decorate my "D" I chose to make a textured background with toilet paper and a rubber stamp. First I inked the stamp with varying shades of pink ink. Then applied a few layers of toilet paper with thinned down school glue. When it was dry I removed the paper from the stamp and it had the flower impression coloured pink. Three dogwood flowers made from balloon shaped pieces of cardstock coloured with Lumieres and the letters for dogwood cut from cardstock and pink paper finish the tag.
Thank you everyone for your comments last week, I look forward to seeing you r tags again this week.
Fab 'D' Paula I love the stamped effect and pretty flowers :)

ReplyDeleteAmazing what you can do with toilet paper and glue! Must give that a go - does it come off the stamp easily? It would be a great technique for a journal page too :o)

ReplyDeleteAnnie if you let the glue dry it peels off easily in one piece.
