Good Day Fellow Taggers :-D I do hope you are all well and managing to stay clear of the variety of bugs doing the rounds just now. We are all flu free in our house but nasty colds can be just as miserable as my wee man is finding just now. A poorly five year old is a sorry sight. He's been home from school this week and I'm keeping him home tomorrow too. Hopefully he'll be better come Thursday. When there's crafting to be done, thank heavens for the joys of CBeebies and transport videos on YouTube I say!
Apologies for digressing, here is my C tag for this week
My tag is cloud shaped which I covered in gilding flakes and I covered the mini clouds with Icicle Stickles. I stencilled the word Cloud onto a small piece of cloud patterned paper, then I used clear embossing powder but it didn't show very well, so I added glossy accents. I still wasn't happy with that so I spread a little diamond Stickles over it. You can see all the details when you click on the picture to enlarge it.
And that's it. Sounds so simple, but it took ages! Haha.
Off to see what beauties you have all created now. Stay well and have a wonderful week. Mo xx
You can see the detail better when you click on it, great shape and use of the letter "C". Very nice.
ReplyDeleteHow cool! Really different! Get well to your family!
ReplyDeleteAt first glance I thought it was old rust. Then when I zoomed in I thought you had embroidered on it. Fantastic tag Mo.
ReplyDeletegreat little tag Mo I like the background effect, the thing I like about doing things like that is the little cut off's that appear which get stick into my sketchbook, which reminds me I haven't opened that for a few days!
ReplyDeleteEmbroidered Lynn? I wish! haha :0) x
ReplyDeleteI clicked and admired close up! Love the background. x

ReplyDeleteWhat a great effect - thanks for sharing your technique. Hope sickness has flown away with the clouds at your place.
