Letter K

Bonjour everyone!

My tag this week is K for Knights of Old.  I love images from the medieval period.  I had some fairy tale papers which I used for the background.  I cut the tag in the shape of a medieval arch.  I found the image of the knight on the internet in black and white so I printed him, cut him out and coloured him with promarkers.  He then looked a bit 'new' so I toned down the colours with a wash of picket fence distress stain (wonderful stuff!).  I used the same die as last week to cut the strip for the bottom of the tag.  I added embellishments of gold gems, some ribbon and the letter K.  The tie at the top is some deconstructed cord which I felt echoed the plumes on his helmet and I anchored this with a gold button toned down with lilac alchol ink.  Whew!  Enough explanation!!  Will come back later to browse through all your wonderful creations.  Until then - a bientot!!   Carolyn xx
