Letter K

Hi Everyone, it's Tuesday again and here we all are with another set of beautiful and unique tags; but this week we are using the letter 'K'. Like Valerie before me, I chose Kite.
I knew I was going to do a kite when my hubby came home one Saturday with the harlequin fabric sample. I've simply glued it to some card, added yellow ric-rac, some red & diamond Stickles and some clear gems.
The tail is some gorgeous thread from here, http://www.etsy.com/shop/CAROLYNSAXBYTEXTILES to which I tied various coloured ribbons. My letter 'K' is just a letter bead threaded onto more ribbon.

I love the chorus of the song written by Richard & Robert Sherman for the Disney classic Mary Poppins; so cheery and uplifting and it definitely makes me want to  'Go Fly A Kite'

Let's go fly a kite

Up to the highest height!
Let's go fly a kite and send it soaring
Up through the atmosphere
Up where the air is clear
Oh, let's go fly a kite!

If you fancy hearing the whole song, go here, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g89NxTTycxc
Thanks for looking. Stay safe, stay well, have a good week and I'll see you here again next week. *Hugs*  :0) Mo xx
