Back in 2001, I sketched the Christ figures that I used in my X and Y tags in one of my old art journals. For some reason, these letters made me think of those sketches, and they've resurfaced as the focal point of my two Church stained glass window tags. Isn't it funny how that happens to artists sometimes? Anyway, my inspiration came from the phrase "young ones," which is sometimes used to refer to children. I used the same techniques as in the letter X tag that I made last week.
Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me,
and do not hinder them,
for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."
Matthew 19:14
