This week's theme put me way outside my comfort zone. I don't often use bright colours, dislike orange, don't like primary red, so my choice was somewhat limited. I went with purple and yellow, which are quite nice colours and I managed to find some bits and pieces in my craftavan which fit the bill. I stamped the background with a few different purple inks, cut out a yellow bird and a purple butterfly from a couple of sheets I had printed before leaving the UK, and used a piece of bright yellow ribbon to give it a bit of oomph. Drew some swirlies along one side and stuck on a few little purple dyed lace flowers as well as a cut out purple pansy -
