"The Swinging Sixties"

Hello fellow taggers :D How lovely to be here again and see all your wonderful tags. This week our theme set by the lovely Carolyn is "The Swinging Sixties", a time renowned for hippies, colour, free love & all sorts of other impactful events, though not all were joyful. I have chosen an upbeat theme & also decided to stay with my current bus series too (I wonder why). So without further ado here is my tag

I found the basic shape online, added some elements in Word, printed it twice, coloured with Distress Pens, Distress Inks & Dylusions Inks. The background is also coloured the same way. I then matted it to another piece of card that I had edged with lovely stripy washi tape..I cut out one of the buses & layered it over the other with sticky pads. I printed out the label for the front bumper & added glossy accents over the top of that. My tie is some scrim sprayed with inks for that groovy look.And finally I added the lovely metal scroll heart. 

Now I wonder if I can incorporate next week's 'Eyes' theme with a bus???

I have had a wee peek at the tags already posted & I can't wait to have a closer look this evening.
