I wanted to do a frothy, formal concoction for my wedding tag, and kept the color very minimal. I found clip art of a flowery frame, and in Photoshop inverted it to be white on a dove grey background, adding the words "I DO" in a fanciful font. After printing it out, I cut a window into the frame, and behind that put a photo of a Victorian couple (found on The Graphics Fairy site). I raised the frame a bit with dimensional dots, but it doesn't really show. Then I made a mini bridal bouquet to go between the words and overlap the man's dark suit just a little. Tiny rhinestones, fancy lace, and organza ribbon are the finishing touches.
My favorite part about the tag is the small rhinestone heart pick in the bouquet. I've had that sparkly little embellishment sitting in a drawer for probably twenty years (maybe more!), and just recently re-discovered it. It was fun to get to use it--finally--on this little project!
Thanks, all of you, for the nice comments you left on my very first posting with Tag Tuesday last week. I can tell already that this is a friendly and supportive group, and I appreciate the welcome!!
