Eden's Gate
I have always been fascinated by doors and gates. Whenever I travel, I come home with more pictures of doors and gates than I do of the major tourist spots. I imagine that when Adam and Eve left the Garden of Eden, the angels gated it, knowing that mankind would always try to seek reentry. For this week's tag, I first used watercolors to create the background of a lovely garden. On a piece of heavy card stock, I used metallic paint and Tim Holtz daubers to create a background for the gate. Next, I drew a modern gate with the design of a willow tree on it and cut it out with an Exacto knife and then finished it by gluing it to the background.
oh so romantic and gorgeous! xo
