EGYPT

Bonjour everyone!

We are enjoying an Indian summer here in France this week with temps up to 30 deg! The plum harvest has just finished and this week the grape harvest has begun - a very busy time for our farming neighbours!  Hope everyone else is having a good week.

For my Egypt tag I printed the background from the internet and then stencilled the stylised lotus flower on top with Promarkers.  I was going to use a solid colour but then I thought that I quite liked the way I could see the hieroglyphs through the colours.  I drew some more lotuses on the die cut edging at the bottom and finished it off with some ribbon.

Be back soon to look at all your wonderful work.  Thanks everyone for the lovely comments you leave me each week - each one gives me a little thrill!

A bientot
Carolyn xx
