Autumn

painted and stencilled background , pen and pencil drawing.
The long sighs of violins
Hurt my heart with a languor of sadness
from "Autumn Song" by Paul Verlaine

Hope you all have a great week... it's hard to imagine Autumn at the moment here. We are experiencing very hot windy days generating worrying,  raging bush fires.

  1. This tag is hauntingly exquisite Wilma. My thoughts are with you, the fires must be very scary. Wish I could send you some of our rain, we are having a deluge at the moment! Keep safe, hugs x.

  5. This is a deeply moving and beautiful tag. Where do you live? I know all about hot autumn wind and fires being in Southern CA. May God protect you and yours!

  6. Thank you all for your good wishes during our bush fires. I live in Newcastle NSW Australia - we have a large out of control bush fire about 20km/about 12 miles away, but nothing threatening our neighbourhood. There are at the moment about 60 fires burning in the state, so there are many people who are having a very difficult time.
