AUTUMN

Bonjour to all my lovely tag friends!

Sorry I was missing last week but I went to England to visit my son and daughter and was busy buying shoes rather than making tags of them!!

Anyway here I am back with my Autumn tag.  I have discovered a fab new technique for the background of tags - ink with distress and then lay on top of a layer of bubbles (lots of washing up liquid in a little water) - do have a go if you haven't tried this - its great - the best inks to use are the darker ones for a dramatic effect.  I used spiced marmalade for this one as I wanted a lighter background and then added a die cut gate and loads of autumn leaves coloured with Promarkers and some edged with stickles (not too apparent on the photo!).  I then finished off with some metal cobwebs bought on ebay.  Hope you like it.  I'll be back to have a look and comment on all your wonderful tags after I've been out for a typical French lunch with our Dutch friends (this could take a while!!).

P.S.  New themes for November in sidebar.

A bientot
