Beads, Buttons, and Bows

Oh, I love this theme! I am working on an applique and embellished Audubon quilt for my sister-in-law, so I have been sewing a lot. I used odds and ends from my sewing and beading stash to create this tag, fashioning a big bow of tea stained lace and then sewing on a large rhinestone button, a large drop pearl and a strand of 8 mm pearls. I trimmed the manila tag to conform to the dimensions of the bow and photographed it on burlap with some odd beads and buttons.

Now, I'm back to the quilt!
