For the current week's challenge I got to do some things I just love to do, like tear paper and layer it. I decided to work with neutrals. This page includes: blank sheet music paper, vintage wallpaper, book page, receipt, ledger page -- all old -- and then Bird Song tissue from 7 Gypsies, which is "new."
Besides gluing on ephemera, I did some stamping. I really like a stamp I have that creates dots randomly -- to look like foxing on old paper; can you see it, above? I also stamped the word, TORN at the bottom of this tag. It's a great word.
And I decided to do a play on the alliterative T & T of tattered and torn by sneaking in another favorite: P & P. I finished it off with some roughly torn cotton fabric for the trim and the ribbon. Thank you for another fun challenge!
Lovely tag Laurie! Valerie
