All Stitched Up

I was brought up in a family where dressing up for Church and special occasions was taken very seriously.  Therefore, I have always had suits, including tailor made suits when I was a teenager and young adult.  Nothing fits and feels better to wear than the latter.  However, with a teacher's salary, a child in college, and another one coming up next year, I can't afford them these days.  Inspired by my now deceased tailor, I designed my "stitched up" tag.

I want to thank everyone who took the time to leave a comment on my post last week.  Your thoughtful words were very encouraging to me.  Blessings!

  1. Wonderful post with a wonderful tag as well.

My grandmother was a tailoress but died when she was only 55. When she was alive we always had the best clothes ever and I still love to admire wonderful, hand stitched creations though I could never afford to buy them.

  10. There is nothing like bespoke clothing Arnoldo. We have a long line of cloth magicians in our family. Your post is lovely and I so agree about a teachers salary!
