All Stitched Up

Hello!  I used to stitch and sew quite a bit years ago, but since I've been into "paper," I haven't as much so this was a bit of a stretch this week.  I used the blanket/buttonhole stitch to adhere fabric to a library card.  The shopping girl is attached with a simple running stitch.  The fabric I had on hand from a former pillow project (glad I saved the scraps!).

When I was making this, I thought it was a bit ahead of the holiday schedule. However, we had our first snow yesterday afternoon!  Not unheard of around here, but it's been several years since we had snow this early. Not quite ready for that! Have a good week ahead!
