I had a quirky presentation planned for my art this week,
however when I went to play,
My Grand Lady, Queen Tara was definitely not amused!
She said " A little smile
a word of cheer
a bit of love
from someone near.
A little gift
from one held dear,
best wishes for the
coming year."
As she is Tara, Queen of the Forest from the magical artist Lynne Perella, for Paper Artsy, who am I to disagree? These stamps have so much detail they are a joy to work with.
Queen Tara, has of course, the very BEST tree in any forest. With all her bird subjects there is NO problem with getting her star up tall and straight. Her tree is on the back of the tag. I am probably going to hang this as a window piece when I do a tiny bit of decorating.
Don't you love when your muse takes your art journey in unexpected directions?
I do!
Julie
If I missed visiting you this week my apologies - my computer has been off more than it has been on.
We have had a week of severe thunderstorms every day and night.
The rain is very welcome but not all the destruction that is being wreeked.
I love the magical feel of your tag, and to make it 2-sided was brilliant. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteA two-sided tag is very fun! Boy, that is a stunning Christmas tree! Lovely!
ReplyDeleteA very stunning tag, love the regal colours, too. Hope you have a quieter week weather wise! Valerie
ReplyDeleteShe is certainly a magical and wise Queen to have led you to making this terrific tag. Love the second tag as well
