Proverbs

Hello!  This is my first post to the blog.  I'm so happy to create with you all.  I was very delighted with this week's challenge.  To make this tag, I used the Valentine House digital stamp from The Stamping Boutique which was colored and paper-pieced digitally using Nancie Rowe Janitz’s Bountiful Paperset in Photoshop Elements and cut with my Silhouette Portrait.  The little house was applied on top of the tag using 3D Zots.  The chipboard tag is a Tim Holtz Tag & Bookplates Die by Sizzix (cut using my Silhouette Portrait). Black Soot, Broken China, Forest Moss, and Pumice Distress Inks were applied to the edges of the tag and tag topper.  The tag topper, scalloped border, and Home is Where Your Heart is sentiment was purchased at the Silhouette America online store.  The sentiment was outlined using a black Silhouette sketch pen and then filled in with a white gel pen. Glossy Accents by Ranger was applied to the heart in the sentiment. Fall Word Strips by Nancie Rowe Janitz were used toward the top of the tag “sweet memories treasured”.  The bow at the top of the tag is heavy duty jute from the hardware store.
