Angels

Happy Tag Tuesday everyone! I hope you are enjoying this busy season and taking time to take care of yourself! I stitched this little angel twenty years ago when I was expecting my own little angel! I was very pregnant, and very sick every morning. In the evening my husband fixed or bought my dinner, and I would cross-stitch because I found it very soothing. I must have cross-stitched a dozen angel ornaments. A few remained in my fabric stash and were never finished. So here we are! A whole new creative opportunity to bring out a little angel from 1993.  --Sandy Leigh

    I love the connection Sandy and can absolutely relate. The Christmas I was waiting for the birth of my son was fraught and I spent time embroidering too. Those little ornaments are treasured by our family 30 years later - a wonderful reminder of our own miracle.
