Twelve Days of Christmas

Bonjour!!

There were no prizes for guessing which of the twelve days I would choose!!  It had to be Three French Hens!  So I present to you Edna, Dorothy and Ethel (yes, I know the names aren't French but they are named after my husband's mother and sisters!).  They are feeling the cold at the moment and egg production is down but Eric, the cockerel is keeping them warm.  I have to break through the ice in their water container each morning.  Although it is very cold here at the moment we have glorious bright blue skies so I don't mind.

The image is printed onto cotton which I received in the post yesterday and just had to experiment with.  It is specially stiffened with a removable paper backing so that it will go through the printer without buckling.  I made a corrugated card frame inked and stickled and I added some brads and lace.

Here is a picture of two of the girls with Eric:

Have a good week everyone.
A bientot
