Winter Landscape

Happy New Year everyone!
Sorry I'm a bit late this week - that's the first New Year's Resolution gone for a burton then! :o)

Here's my Winter Landscape tag ...

The beautiful, rather haunting image is from Graphics Fairy. I don't know anything about this little girl, but she seems to be holding a bag of money in one hand and a horseshoe in the other and she's set against a snowy winter scene ... maybe she is bringing good luck and prosperity for the New Year.

Here's a closer look ...

I printed the image out three times, so that I could layer it up for a more three-dimensional effect. My tag shape was stamped and inked to create a nice background for the picture, then I added some embossing paste and glitter paste around the edges ....

... looks like a bit of a slug trail in the picture, but it's very pretty in real life!

Thanks for checking out my tag - I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone else has created now :o)xxx

  6. What a cute image you found & used to great effect Annie. I hope she brings us all good luck. The glittery edge is very un-slug-trail like btw, haha
Thank you so much for your kind words on my tag. Happy New Year :o)

  7. I think you're right about the message of the antique photo. And so clever to print it 3x and create perspective that way!
