Insects and Hearts

I have a nice collection of bumblebee stamps, and decided to make a bee tag for the Insect theme.  I love to see the bumblebees in my garden, laden with pollen, flitting from flower to flower.  I used a new Tim Holtz stencil for the background, and sponged distress inks over the stencil and the hive shape.

I had my heart tag  planned out last week, but for some reason it took me a while to finish it off.   After I made it, I thought it looked too long, cut it off, and then it looked too short.  I reattached the bottom, and then had to cover up the cut area.  The tag base is made with distress  stains.           Off to see all the other tags!

  2. Two great tags. Love your new stencil and the band of colour in the second one really added something to the composition. Carolyn xx
