Fantastic & Strange

I have this odd 100-year-old magazine that was a publication dedicated to teachers. I might have kept it in tact, but it is in terrible condition, so it's really fun to use in artwork! I love this ad I found in it with the lady in the jar of cream. (I'd like to know exactly what Ingram's Milkweed Cream could do for you.) But it is my favorite strange old ad. Along with my strange zig zag stitching, I added a ticket from a fantastic musical I saw a couple of years ago, and some fantastic acrylic beads I love to use right now in a lot of my jewelry making. They are Urban Ice by Jesse James, and they are full of fantastic sparkle! Happy Tuesday everyone.

  4. Super tag|! I have some French magazines from the 1920's and 1930's which contain advertisements for all sorts of weird potions and lotions! Good idea for the theme. Carolyn xx
