French school days

I remember my school days very fondly. Being a teenager at school during the Hippie days was sooo much fun, we didn't have school uniforms in Germany ;-), so maxi dresses and flowers were quite the norm. Yikes, I remember very mini miniskirts and hotpants as well. Oh, and do you remember the paper dress craze?

The young lady on my tag is much more properly and very prettily dressed. The background is a page from an antique French primary school book showing beautiful handwriting. I scanned the book in as well and put it on the tag. Bottom and one side are finished with an image of a vintage wooden ruler, and I just stamped the numbers 1 - 9 at the top.

Getting ready to go back to France again in a few days, so might miss next week's tag.

  9. LOLOL, I just had a look at your tags, Wendy and Carolyn, and yes, we used the same background source, Carolyn, and the same image, Wendy. How funny. I do love those old French school books, they are fabulous.

  12. So cute, and I love the way you have photographed it! I remember those hippie days, with my hair down to my waist and my skirt as short as I could get away with. Fun!
