Metal

Beautiful doll tags and wonderful to see that so many of us loved, and still love, paper dolls. Thank you for the lovely comments all.

I like the theme Metal as it opens so many possibities.

I used a foil pie dish for my tag. The tag was made from the bottom of the tin and embossed in a folder before I cut out the shape and sprayed and distressed it.

The flowers were made from the sides of the tin and I had to straighten them quite a bit before putting them in the same folder to add some texture. The flowers are made from the Tattered Flowers Tim Holtz Die Cut and fastened on with a metal brad. The ribbon has metal in the edges so a truly metal creation.

The quote is one my maternal grandfather used often as he was a Little Mester in the Sheffield cutlery industry.

Can't wait to see all of your makes

Love Chrissie x
