Ephemera

Events are the ephemera of history : they pass across its stage like fireflies, hardly glimpsed before they settle back into darkness and as often as not into oblivion....
I chose the suffragette movement as one of the " ephemeral" events in history that I hope will not fade  into oblivion . I have been waiting to use these replicas I found when I was in Manchester, UK a couple of years ago and, of course, I added  my favourite ephemera , tea bags.
Thanks for your lovely feedback on previous tags - much appreciated and valued.

  1. I was astonished to see the tickets - what a good idea to have replicas on sale! and good on you for finding them. Another lovely tag, Wilma.

  2. The impact of the Suffragettes is probably now taken for granted by the young...that's probably what their distant dream would have been Wilma.
How luck we all are in so many places that they were so brave.
Thank you for creating such a thoughtful tag.
