Ephemera

Hi everyone. I hope you have all enjoyed a good week. The Summer Solstice was last weekend in this part of the world but in my area, we haven't enjoyed much of a Summer yet. So disappointing after the wonderful weather we enjoyed last year. But, hey-ho, there's nothing we can do about it is there, so no point bemoaning it. Make the best of the extra craft time :)

I'm not sure if what I've used counts as ephemera, so do tell me if not won't you? I need to learn.

I've used old postage labels, a receipt slip from a book, part of an old pocket calendar an old stamp and butterflies punched from an old book page. I crumpled up the papers before gluing them down and used some distress inks to 'age' them all and edge the tag. I just used some complimentary ribbons for the tie.

Wishing you a good week ahead, and until next time, thanks for looking :o) *hugs* Mo x

  6. This is an EXCELLENT example of the use of ephemera in collage. The crumpling and distressing added interest, along with your book page butterflies. Blessings!
