Hi everyone. I hope you have all enjoyed a good week. The Summer Solstice was last weekend in this part of the world but in my area, we haven't enjoyed much of a Summer yet. So disappointing after the wonderful weather we enjoyed last year. But, hey-ho, there's nothing we can do about it is there, so no point bemoaning it. Make the best of the extra craft time :)
I'm not sure if what I've used counts as ephemera, so do tell me if not won't you? I need to learn.
I've used old postage labels, a receipt slip from a book, part of an old pocket calendar an old stamp and butterflies punched from an old book page. I crumpled up the papers before gluing them down and used some distress inks to 'age' them all and edge the tag. I just used some complimentary ribbons for the tie.
Wishing you a good week ahead, and until next time, thanks for looking :o) *hugs* Mo x
Looks ephemeral and very pretty to me Mo and most of all I hope you had fun creating it!

ReplyDeleteWow - just fab! Wonderful ephemera and I love the way you have added texture with the crumpled paper! Carolyn xx
ReplyDeleteThis is an EXCELLENT example of the use of ephemera in collage. The crumpling and distressing added interest, along with your book page butterflies. Blessings!
ReplyDeletegorgeous colors and design! xo
